Why this tool exists

Most free invoice generators ask you to create an account, then upload your client list and billing details to someone else's database in exchange for a PDF. That is a poor trade for a document you could have written by hand.

This one takes the opposite approach. It is a single page that runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no database, and no server that ever sees what you type. You get the same professional PDF without handing over your customer data to get it.

How it is built

Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no framework, no build step, and no third-party JavaScript libraries. The whole application is roughly 40 KB of source. That is a deliberate choice: fewer dependencies means fewer ways for your data to leak and a page that loads quickly on a slow connection.

PDF export uses your browser's own print engine rather than a JavaScript PDF library, which keeps the text selectable and avoids shipping a large dependency to every visitor.

How it is funded

This site is free and is supported by advertising. Ads are clearly marked and are kept out of the tool itself. There is no paid tier, and no feature is withheld to push you toward one.

Advertising is the only revenue on this site. Your invoice data is not part of that arrangement — it is never collected, sold, or shared, because it never reaches a server in the first place. See the privacy policy for what advertising does involve.
